  1. I do not really understand your question.  Has the credit card been declined?  If you gave the customer the product without first running the card then you have lost the value of the product.  You have no recourse.


  2. The one who is sitting there with zilch!

  3. YOu can not allow the item to leave the store without the credit card being approved for the transaction.  Then you have the problem of the buyer telling the credit card company that the item is defective. You need to make sure the item is returned to you, even if you have to go get it.

    If the credit company has the right to remove their money from your bank account, the risk is yours.
