Will the post office hold it for you to pick up? I don't like giving my address to people that I don't know very well.

  1. You need a PO.Box .. Ive got one.. {Yes you can..}

  2. They'll only hold it if you have a P.O. Box or if mail is undeliverable in your area.

  3. Hello,

    Unless you have a post office box.

    Just do not buy over the internet and no worries.

  4. Post offices let you rent boxes for a fee.  Then, mail is sent to something like

    PO Box xxxx

    rather than a street address.

  5. You can send it to the Post Office as General Delivery.. Just make sure you go to the desk and ask for your mail.. They do send it back after 10 days or less depending on the area you live in. use your name, then where the address goes they will put General Delivery and the town and zip

  6. Are you someone important or something thats kind of rediculous and yes its called a "PO Box" you can get one for about $100 a year

  7. no you will need to set up a PO Box for that to happen, i looked into it and it costs £70 for 6 months.

  8. I'm not sure about the post office holding somehting for you - but you could also send it to your work address if you have permission or maybe get a PO box, they are pretty reasonable.

  9. Post offices can hold your packages for you. Just call them and give them your name and address. I had a package that was supposed to arrive at my house but they called me from the post office to tell me they couldn't find the address.  I asked them if they could hold it for me to pick it up the same day and they did.

  10. Your best bet is to get a personal PO Box for such occasions.

  11. get a P.O. BOX..

  12. Yeah, you can. Just notify your local post office and they will tell you what to do. Some people don't want anyone knowing their addresses so they have po boxes. They rent them and have their mail delivered there instead. Hope I helped!
