If some one is suing me for business deal went bad.?

I am being sued for 30,000 from a business deal gone bad. I lost the same amount but because I brought them in they think they can come after me for there part. How can I protect myself? If I were to BK would that help me? 7 or 13???

Bankruptcy would wipe out any potential judgment against you unless the other side could prove fraud.  Bad advice or bad luck is not fraud, deliberate deception is.
