If somebody asked me what happens after death - I can't honestly answer that one.

If somebody asks me if I had a good day at work - yes, I would honestly give them the brutal truth.

If the question is too personal, I will tell them it is none of their business.

Always be truthful!  Trust is a hard thing to regain.  If you don't feel comfortable giving the honest answer, tell him you're not comfotable answering that question at this time.  It's still honest.
