  1. FIBRE FIBRE FIBRE FIBRE, and lots of water to keep stools soft.

    i eat Brown/Red rice, wholemeal, Oat, malt loafs, high fibre cerals, loads of veg. ect ect ect.  


  2. Stay away from hot stuff (i.e. hot sauce, peppers, etc).  That burns enough coming out, without the hemorrhoids...

  3. Here are some foods that will help give you relief from hemorrhoids Use the following foods to help reduce hemorrhoid bleeding:

    Alfalfa

    * Dark green leafy vegetables

    * Blackstrap molasses

    * Flax seeds – are high in omega-3 oils, which reduce inflammation and pain. They are also high in fiber.

    * Lima and butter beans are high in iron, which help to build more blood. If you have bleeding hemorrhoids, adding lima beans to your diet would be a good choice.

    *Sweet potatoes provide fiber, B vitamins, iron, potassium and many other vitamins and minerals. This is a good body building food.

    If after trying different hemorrhoid remedies listed here for up to two week and your hemorrhoids do not have shrunk or go away, you might consider seeing a doctor. You need to find out if your hemorrhoids exist because of a more serious medical condition.


  4. You need things higher in fibre... wholemeal, whole wheat etc. Brown rice and pasta not white, eat potatoes in their jackets.... eat fruit and veg, raw veg, salad. If you have a higher fibre diet make sure you also drink a lot of fluid. Its easy to get really constipated from having hard stools because you haven't had enough fluid. Dried fruit is high fibre, dates, prunes, apricots etc. Sweetcorn, baked beans and peas all have a high fibre content.
