If somebody says their behavior resembles that of a psychopath, what does this mean?

its a book review & one of the characters id described as having the nature similar to that of a psychopath, what traits or how can you tell? what will this person be like? basically what is a psycopaths behavior?

any help muuuuch appreciated! :)

  1. There are no "traits" of a psychopath. Anyone can be one. My cousin could be one for all I know, because anyone can become "crazy" at anytime. You can only tell when they outwardly show being one.

    # Absence of delusions and other signs of irrational thinking.

    # Absence of nervousness or neurotic manifestations.

    # Unreliability.

    # Untruthfulness and insincerity.

    # Lack of remorse or shame.

    # Antisocial behavior without apparent compunction.

    # Poor judgement and failure to learn from experience.

    # Pathological egocentricity and incapacity to love.

    # General poverty in major affective reactions.

    # Specific loss of insight.

    # Unresponsiveness in general interpersonal relations.

    # Fantastic and uninviting behavior with drink, and sometimes without.

    # Suicide threats rarely carried out.

    # s*x life impersonal, trivial, and poorly integrated.
