If somebody sends a package fedex overnight, is it possible to get it in 2 days?

for example, package sent tuesday, but received thursday.

shipping fedex you have a couple of choices

first is first overnight (thats the most expensive but its

guarantee to arrive at its destination by 8 or 8:30am the next day

then we got Priority overnight (guarantee to arrive the next day

by 10:30pm

then we got Standard over guarantee to arrive the next day

by 3 or 3pm

then we got 2nd day service which means it would

arrive the 2nd day you sent it *(unless it was a Thursdays

then of course it wouldn't arrive until Monday (unless you paid extra for Saturday deliver

then we got fedex express saver (which really 3 day delivery)

by 4pm

those are all by fedex express

we also offer fedex ground but its not overnight (unless it

a local delivery) and its not guarantee to arrive by a certain

time

You can look at the shipping details online using the package tracking number.  A possible scenario is that the package was dropped off after the cut-off time on Tuesday, so it actually didn't go out until Wednesday.
