  1. Smile and nod at her and in your head cuss her out!  That is what I did to get through the idiot Drill Sergeants in Basic Training, and it totally worked!  Also, what me and my baby sister did when we were little and had a really bad mom was, we would make up new lyrics (that were mean about my mom) to songs we sang all the time and then when she did something mean we would him the tune and think of the mean lyrics!  It kept us out of trouble, but it helped with our aggression.  You could also write in a diary about her (not mean things, just about what ever she was really wrong about) and write why you were right and the proof (web site, book, where ever you got your info) maybe she will read it and look it up and see that you were right!   For instance, you could write,"Me and (step moms name) had a discussion today about (blah blah) and she said it was this way but I know it was that way because I just read about it in (name of book).  It made me really sad that she would not listen to me even though I actually knew what I was talking about"  Then she knows she hurt you feelings but you did not have to have an argument abut it.  And if you leave the diary at their house she (or your dad) will almost certianly read it, because adults are really nosy like that!  Hope this helped!

  2. Just say, "What-ever", and go about your business.
