If somebody will use Registered Air Mail to send me a package, What kind of requirements I need to accomplish?

I want to buy an item, but the seller says:

Shipping Fee is USD 12.00 with REGISTERED AIR MAIL for Worldwide.

I want to know If I need something in particular to be able to get the item delivered or if I can buy without worrying about it.

What is exactly REGISTERED AIR MAIL and what I need to do to get one?

I'm not sure about there but here in the US when somebody sends something via Registered Services, the recipient must usually be present to sign for it upon receipt.

Check with your local post office what their regulations are and if you need to sign for it and if anything else is required for you.
