If someone's Yahoo account is deleted, will that auto delete any groups where this person is the sole owner?

An angry ex has deleted our group owner's Yahoo mail account, and now the group seems to have disappeared too. Wondering if there's a way to recover the group or the messages for the rest of us.

it probably is that the owner deleted the group prior to their own account. unfortunately, there is nothing you can do if you were just a member. sorry

If the owner deleted the group, you cannot bring it back, but you can still ask Yahoo about it:
