Let's say someone called me but they *69'd their number to hide it from me. Does their actual number show up on the phone bill? If not then what does? And is there any way to find out who that person is?

Thanks!

  1. yes in most cases,

do *67 and it should show up IF they called from a land line it would but a cell phone there is no way of doing that. After  certain amount of time if they keep doing this you can call your phone company and tell them to block *69 and anymonus callers from caller your house( fees may apply) or if its serious  call the police. it does not show up  on thier phone bill as its a free service. Hope that helps!

  2. i believe it's *67 and i don't think you can. sorry

  3. You mean *67 which blocks a number from showing up on your caller id.

The *69 is call return which lets you  either get the number date and time or by pressing 1 you can call right back. If you press that 1 the phone will try again and again for the next half hour. That *69 will NOT work if they blocked caller id.

If you are being harassed use *57 (call trace) which records all the details even if they blocked caller id but will only report it to your phone service provider for them to release to the police.

  4. no their number will not show up, and the only way to really ever see that number would probably to get the police involved.

  5. no their number will not show up it will say unknown or private if on a cell phone if home it will not show up

  6. no the only way you could do it if your really need to is the police they will track it and turn that persons phone off
