  1. In the UK, if someone has served 22 years and is still out on licence, the chances are that they committed some kind of homicide or a very serious assault or something else which carries a discretionary life sentence. There are no free sites that I am aware of. I suppose you could try the archives of your local newspaper.

    Hope that helps

  2. You're going to need to clarify

  3. murder or something as serious, and the only ways to find out are by asking them and trusting them to tell you the truth, or getting a CRB check done on them which you need their permission for

  4. i dont know any way of finding out exactly what crime was comitted but I would suggest that it could be murder or a very violent offence. he could well have comitted more offences while serving the origional sentence in prison, ie assaulting another inmate or prison officer. Someone can be given a 5 year sentence and still be in prison 20 years later if they prove to be very violent. Now he's out though, he has to keep 100% within the law. Being on licence he cant even jump a red light or he'll be back inside for another few years.

  5. Murder!

  6. It could be anything from retaliation to what ever. More details are going to be needed. He could have been charged with 2 crimes and did them back to back. He could have been in for a less time but committed a crime on the inside. It's hard to say what he was in for unless that person tell you.

Other than a background check on the person I don't know of a website that will give you info like that.

  7. murder?somethin pretty heavy for 22yr anyway

  8. Definitely something violent, if not murder.

  9. More than likely murder, but there could be other charges as well

  10. You won't find any sites that give you the details.  I used to work for the Probation Service and had access to the details but we had to sign the official secrets act.  However, I can assure you it was something very serious, probably murder or armed robbery.

  11. This would be VERY difficult to answer without a peek in the court records.  There may be multiple counts included in the charge, such as; ten counts of grand larceny, two counts of passing a forged instrument, five counts of theft by check - etc.  There is no public internet access to court records, but they are a matter of PUBLIC records and you can request access at the court - IF you know which court the person was charged in.

  12. In America you can only get 22 years for a Felony, such as Manslaughter or another violent crime. It is unlikely that the charge was murder, because it is unlikely a murder would be paroled at 22 years, but it is highly likely that whatever the crime was it resulted in someone's death.

  13. Please fill us in with what state you live in there are alot of possibilities that they could have done. Depending on what state you are in there are different state and county websites that you can find this out.

  15. 22 years? isnt that for murder? its not for shoplifting anyway.
