Assuming you are referring to domestic gas, there would be no difference in colour since the gas does not combine with the body. Gas kills by depriving the body of oxygen upon which it depends to sustain its life. It is not a poison in the chemical sense. These act by attacking the organs of the body to the point when they cease to function and the person dies.
