My sister was subpoenaed for court, but wasn't able to make it because she was not in the state at the time. Will a warrant put out for her arrest, or is that just dropped?

  1. they will serve a warrant out for your arrest

  2. She needs to contact the court.  the Judge likely issued a bench warrant.

  3. I THINK THE COURTS WILL FIND HER IN CONTEMT OF COUURT. SHE NEEDS TO GET THIS CLEARED UP SO SHE DOES NOT GET A BENCH WARRANT.

  4. If she was called as a witness, probably not a warrant, but she should contact the attorney/DA and clear it with them that she was out of state so they know why she's a no-show.  If she was the defendant, then they probably did issue a warrant, and she still needs to contact the clerk of court or get an attorney to do it and get her hearing rescheduled.
