If someone gets punched on the nose...?

....can that person actually die? It's just that I take Taekwondo, and we have this combat defense class where there is a lot of kick boxing, ground fighting, practicing with fake guns and knives, etc. I heard that if a person gets vertically punched on the nose, then that person can die. Is that true?

No you can't die from a punch to the nose, not unless it's from Buakaw por!  - (muay thai boxer lol)

They can't put you in a seriously dangerous situtation like that, unless you started bleeding so much that all the blood in your body oozed out.

yah it's true.....see wat happens is that if you punch someone onthe nose, then their brain can stop functioning and that can lead to death.....but it doesn't always happen that way
