I want to get a job at a restaurant, but not sure if they are lenient with people, who have felonies on their record. I would like to get a job as a busser or dishwasher for extra cash. I already have a full-time job and the felony was 3 1/2 years ago. Thanks

  1. All the restaurants that I am familiar with (and I work with hundreds) allow convicted felons to work in those positions. Make sure that you are upfront about your record when applying.

Have you asked at the local Unemployment office about services for ex-offenders?  I realize that you are still employed but they still have services that might help.
