  1. If it is a threatening call or a harassing call, you notify the police and keep a record of the time of the calls and the nature of the calls. They might even ask you to record them. After a sufficient number of calls, you will be asked to submit the record. It will be compared to the billing machine tapes by computer and the number will emerge.  It may take a while, but if it is evil, they will find and prosicute if you sign the request. Actually, they may not do anything unless you agre to prosicute.

  2. nope you can't, i would recommend calling your provider and making private calls blocked.

  3. sometimes you can dial *69 to cal back a private number but it costs one doller each time

  4. If the calls are harassing, then call your local law enforcement office and report the problem to obtain a police report ID #. *57 is the customer originated trace. After you receive one of these calls, answer it, then hang up. Dial the *57 immediately (if you receive any other calls it will trace that one). As noted above it will trace the call (if possible) and provide it to your provider. You must note the date/time (very important in most cases), then call your provider. Explain what is going on and give them the case ID you were given and it helps to provides them a contact # for that office. Inform them that you just preformed a customer originated trace at X time. They will then provide the # (again if possible) to that law enforcement agency. Then it's up to the law. There are instances where the originating DN can not be traced, but good luck!

  5. only if you have the police check all your incoming calls

  6. yes...but it will cost moolah$$$

  7. Sorry, we have tried every way our selves to find numbers.
