If someone has a round trip, when they return, can they use the ticket from another airline?

So I am currently in the US, I have purchesed airline round ticket to Syria, from Detroit to Syria... but not sure if im gonna stay in syria the time to come back here. so can i use the same ticket to come back here from another city or countrie's airline?

Nope - you're going to have to call the airline and pay a fee to have them change the ticket.  Unless you bought the "non-flexible" one in which case you may have to buy a whole different ticket.

You definitely won't be able to use another airline unless there is a codeshare.
