  1. the childrens social worker and or child protective services

  2. Many children die each yr in this country,at the hands of foster parents.Sometimes from neglect, other times from abuse. These people are paid caregivers, and some are in it for the money. While there are many people doing it for the love of the children, many do it for the "money". While you sit here asking this question the neglect continues, call social services NOW

  3. if you your unsure of the social worker try child line they might help or point you in the right directions if you are wrong there  is nothing to lose but there will be if you are right about the situation.

  4. Absolutely!  If you are in the USA, find the number for your state's abuse registry and call them.  It is usually a toll-free number.  Foster parents are supposed to be committed to caring for, and rearing, their foster children.  Sadly, too many times the foster parents treat their foster children differently from their own children.  Generally, the agencies don't get as upset by that as they should, but if a child is being neglected, abused, is not receiving medical care, supervision, is not attending school, anything that would be detrimental to a child, the child protection agency needs to know.  These children deserve to be treated with love and kindness as well as having their needs met.  The foster parents are paid to provide this care.  If they aren't, it's a breach of their contract with the agency as well as to the children in their care.  By reporting them, you also let the children know that someone cares about what is happening to them.

  5. you need to call anonymously the division of youth and family services in your state.  they will investigate your statements to see if they are true.  you do not have to give your name.  take care..

  6. Call the office of child protective services.

  7. You might want to talk to the foster parents first to find out if there are extenuating circumstances. However, if it is blantant neglect or abuse definately report the problems to the Child Protective Services of your county. They go by a number of names It could be DFCS, DSS, and sometimes DHEC.

Foster children can come with a lot of SERIOUS emotional and behavioral issues and not all foster parents are up to the task of helping these children. Often times they struggle in an attempt to not fail the kids. In doing so they do not ask for help when they truly need it. Also, they may be asking or even begging for help but the case workers are so over worked they may be neglecting the foster parents requests for help.

On the other hand I have met foster parents who are in it for the money. Trust me there is no extra money in it if you do it right; meaning buying the kids new clothes rather than thrift shop clothes. Thrift shop clothes are fine for play clothes but the children get allowances for clothes and they should not all come from thrift shops and consignment shops. There's nothing that defeats a childs self image than buying them all second hand clothes as if they are second hand kids.

Maybe I have an exceptional view of what a foster parent is supposed to do, but in my opinion they should be advocating for and on the behalf of their foster children. They should be treated like the foster parents own child. With that being said, some people do not treat their children like the gifts that they are.

  8. It depends.  How do you know what duties a foster parent has? Are they neglecting them?   Unless you are a foster parent, you may not know what thier duties are.

Among the duties of a foster parent- nuture the children. Provide stability, routine doctor visits, etc...also know that the foster parents are frequently visited by social workers, juevinille court investigators and lawyers.  If the parents really aren't doing thier duties then any of those professionals probably will find out soon enough.

If you feel they are being neglected or abused, then you can file a 51A on the parents.  You can call the local DSS or CPS in your area and report them anonymously.  The DSS would then look into your report.
