If someone has scheduled to tivo something can I watch television at the same time?

I want to watch t.v. but I dont know if it's going to interefer with the recording. Thanks for answering.

if you get the newest tivo, you can record two things at one time plus you can watch live tv while they are recording...its very cool and its worth buying (i upgraded from the first tivo and i love the newest one)

Only if they have a dual tuner TIVO. Which is usually the case. It usually will ask you if you want to stop recording if they don't.

no, unless you have a splitter.  they're less than $5 and you can watch tv while recording.
