If someone has wronged you, how do you want (s)he to apologize to you?

If someone has wronged me i want nothing from them! They simply no longer exsist to me, simple as that.

taking personal responsibility by admitting the mistake and not making excuses.  I cannot stand when people play the blame game.  And of course not repeating the mistake again.

Just a simple 'sorry' will do, but they have to mean it. I would not say no to a box of chocolates and some flowers. Oh, perhaps they could grovel a little bit as well, only joking.

Is that a question of character or way/manner?  If someone has done me wrong (you have to be more specific about doing wrong) I expect that person to feel remorse for what s/he did, and yes, I expect an apology, for that is a way to show remorse.

Also, I expect that person to pay the consequences by means of the law, not by my hands.  And as a Christian, I feel I should forgive to be at peace with myself, to not rotten my heart with ill rancor and hatred.

Let them come to you themselves and apologize.  If they don't, then they're not truly sorry and they don't care that they've wronged you.

An apology or acknowledgment would would be nice, but isn't required for me to forgive them.  A snickers bar would be nice though..
