if they were honest enough to let you know they did it and contacted their company and filed a claim, then yes their company will pay for your damages.  and YES if you have to put your car in a shop they should also pay for a rental for a reasonable time for the repairs to be done.

Yes, the rental will be covered, but you are only entitled to a comparable vehicle.   Call the insurance company and see if they can set up a direct billing.  Enterprise RAC works with a lot of insurers.
