If someone in their 60's and someone in their 20's were to both find their soul mates who'd be more affected?

Would the older person, in their 60's, be more affected by finding their soul mate because they're at a later stage in their life therefore making it more profound?

or...

Would the 20 something be affected by find their soul mate more?

The 20 year old would be living a life out of context and one that they weren't ready for.

And it would probably kill the old guy, so I'd say he'd be most affected.
