should they do? There is no other way to get to work(they've exhausted all options), the only option left is putting up ads around town, in the newspaper etc and asking for references in exchange for gas money. Should they take the chance?

  1. It depends? what exactly do they have to lose if there's a kidnapping, killing, etc?

  2. under no circumstances should anyone resort to taking rides from strangers for any reason. The risk is not worth it. If you have no family or co-workers to get a ride from, you are better off losing your job.

  3. Not a good idea at all, to dangerous and you should check with local employees at work and see if they can help you out..

  4. Hey, I've done okay finding roommates off posters, so I wouldn't really bat an eyelash at finding a ride with a poster.  If you're nervous, ask to see their ID and leave their name and personal info with someone you know and trust, so that they will know someone knows who you got a ride with.

  5. How about making friends with someone who can take you to work?  Perhaps you can help them out in some way too.
