well lets just say alot of girls had crushes on me

and a dude was jealous and made fun of my background

how should i solve this prob?

make a joke of it, ignore it, dont react upon it... it might show you are insecure, fickle, or dont have a good temper!

Just don't react.  Why cater to fools?   It only puts you on a level with them.  I understand how you feel. I have recently had some lies told about me but I ignore it.   The people telling them are well known for being mean, liars and somewhat insane. So what the heck.

Just smile and say, "That's nice." Trust me, it will make him feel stupid. Recently, these girls have been hating on my best friend. It's really funny because, well, my friend doesn't care. Then, they get all upset. It's hilarious.
