If someone is on LOA can they still come to work everyday?

my bosses (not owner, public traded company) is on medical leave right now and not getting paid, but he is still coming to work every day and looking at reports and having conference calls with us. is this a legal issue or company police issue.

Is he getting workman's comp?  If so, this could be insurance fraud as he is in the office participating in every day work.

I would mention to HR that you are concerned for your boss as he is on medical leave but showing up in the office.  Make it sound like it is all about your boss and you are concerned for him.
