  1. No. You will not be allowed to leave the states for any reason.  If you do get the permission from your PO, you got awfully lucky.  But in my experience working with corrections and probation, you are not allowed to leave the states at all.

  2. Yes, you can go anywhere you want. Just stay out of trouble for 6 months and your misdemeanor is history.

  3. I think it's actually the sentencing judge's call.  I frequently work in a courtroom monitoring people awaiting sentencing - they frequently ask permission to visit family members in other states and get that permission.

The sticking point is the location (outside the USA) and the purpose (a cruise).  Is this trip really necessary now?  If you play your cards right, you might get your probation terminated early.

  4. --- you are right, it is up to your PO, however if you have been a compliant customer and not given him any trouble in the past you will likely be given permission, as long as you give him your agenda, proving you have a ticket for the cruise and a specific return date that is less than a couple of weeks out of the area.

Good luck, stay out of trouble and have fun.
