If someone is "a parody of themself" what does it mean about them?

  1. Usually, when that expression is used, it refers to someone who claims to live a certain way or possess certain beliefs, but who in fact acts contrary to those claims.

    In that manner, he is actually a "feeble or weak imitation" of what he claims to be or the persona he portrays.  


  2. I don't think that it means anything about them. It is either a confirmation or a challenge to those who have made judgements about them.
