  1. It just means they use sarcasm a lot and sometimes it gets them in trouble....

    like if you used it on a teacher and that teacher was really serious or whatever, she might freak about it...

  2. Any time someone is doing too much of anything "for their own good" it simply means they are getting out of line with it - going too far, pissing people off, putting themselves at risk, etc.

    But it does include an element of them being arrogant - like they are going to "get theirs" if they keep it up.

  3. I would take it as they are using sacasim to a point where no one likes them or puts them into a negative light.
