  1. Well, to be honest, if you mean a PT shirt for the armed forces, it's not okay, because it's technically considered government property, and unless you are in the armed forces, wearing PT clothes is forbidden out in public. If it's a wife's or husband's PT shirt you're wearing around the house or with family that's different, but you can't be wearing it in public. If you want to wear a shirt supporting the military, that's fine in public. As long as it's not PT shirts/shorts. The one's that say in big black letters "AIR FORCE", "ARMY", etc. with gray as the main color. Hope that helped, I'm an army wife and wore my husband's PT shirt on post once...that's a big No NO....

  2. I go with A as well.

  3. A.  Absolutely.

The same cannot be said of folks who use military slang but haven't earned the right (like the folks who meet a Marine and throw a few Semper Fi's into every sentence...)

  4. A! It is always ok.  That is how you show your support! I am the sister of a U.S. marine, and I have been to base many times with my marine shirt on, and no one seems to care.  Now THAT is just getting rude, thinking it is unacceptable for people not to show their pride. It's just like having a "semper fi" sticker on the car.Man, if military people want to be supported, they can't be such hard asses. That would really tick me off if someone said something about my shirt.

  5. A. But having a T-shirt does not give you the right to claim you are in the military. You must prove yourself to claim that.

  6. C- I agree with Mrs Kelley

  7. A.

Wear it with pride and dignity! no further explanation to people needed!

  8. A.

  9. A. Im a marine corp wife and i think that its ok for someone to wear a shirt with pride, and to look descentin it. I think that its great that people want others to know that they support our troops. But i dont like seeing anyone wearing random parts of military uniforms.. it really bothers me to see girls walkin around in the boyfriends covers or PT shirts.. i wear my husbands pt shirt around the house but thats only because hes deployed i would never wear it out...  But Ido think its a good thing for people to do...

  10. A...wear it with pride.  The only problem comes in when you wear specific parts of the uniform, and even then, it only applies to those that are actually in the military.  Things may have changed since i was in the service, but we could only wear two pieces of the uniform.  Any more than that and we had to be wearing the whole thing.
