  1. Of course, if I were dead, I wouldn't have a consciousness to think these thoughts.  But in my last moments, I would certainly want to know if there was a reason and what it was (if I didn't already know).

  2. I would be interested to know why they thought murder was acceptable, yes. But I wouldn't want to hear justifications from them, because there isn't one.

  3. If someone killed me, wouldn't I be too dead to care?

  4. Well, obviously, if I was dead, I wouldn't care about anything, but were there an afterlife with consciousness, I would be considerably more pissed at the person who killed me because I was a woman, or a feminist, or a Democrat, than the bus driver who was fiddling with the radio and accidentally failed to see me before he ran me over, yes.

  5. Right, is it better that they killed you to take your money or because they didn't like some aspect about you? Either way, you are dead.

  6. Interesting question.  No, to me the result would be the same.  Hence, it wouldn't really matter what the reasoning were.  Others who knew me might seek closure and need to know why.  To me though, actions are the important part of any person; the reasons behind those actions are interesting but only that.

  7. If it was at all possible to defend myself, I'd be too busy trying to kill the b*****d to ask why he wanted me dead. Otherwise, I would not ask why, or even put up with any speeches if I had to. All the killer has to say at that point is just a bunch of self-serving bull****, anyway. I hear enough of that when election time rolls around. ;-)

  8. Yes. In the same way any other actions which hurts me, is interesting to know why those persons did.

  9. I am sure my family and friends would care.

  10. In the moment I would probably wonder why.

  11. Yes, upon resurrection I would insist on a formal hearing to determine why they were so mean to do such a naughty thing.

(And I'd expect a letter of apology, at the very least).

  12. No, because I'd be DEAD.
