  1. IP adresses make no harm.. most of time! why worrying? I can even get your IP from yahoo answers... it's just your temporary e-address ! i dont understand why ur scared or so

  2. Often your own IP address will change since you are probably on a cable or DSL line and they use IP addresses pools so that they can conserve the amount of addresses they have to assign.  That may be what you are seeing.

However if you want to know the WORST, however, unlikely.

The worst that could happen is they listen to your IP address and analyze the packets for info, passwords, etc.  Or if you use the email address and password to access online stores, they can buy stuff using your info.  They can read your old mail and find out where you shop and order stuff or change the shipping addresses.  Lots of c**p like that.

Just in case, scan your computer for keyloggers (they record your keystrokes).  If you find one, remove it.  Then change your email password, or get a new email and close the old one.  Then change ALL your online passwords.

  3. I noticed the same thing on my gmail account, i definitely didn't have a hacker as the account was set up only a couple of minutes before hand and setup with a strong password.  Maybe your ISP uses disposable IP addresses?  I wouldn't worry about it unless you've had your account for a long time and have always noticed only the 1 IP address.
