  1. No that is them showing you that they are giving you all of there attention. If someone is not looking me in the eyes when I'm talking to them it is showing me that they are not interested in what you have to say. It is a sign of disrespect to me.

  2. Yes, but I'm not good at eye contact. It worries me to have people looking into my eyes, they give away too much! But that's just me being quirky! I'm also not that comfortable having a conversation standing up, I prefer to sit.

  3. Since I'm deaf, I need people to do that. Looking me straight in the eye enables me to lip read. Turning away from me makes it much harder for me to understand what a person is saying.

So...no, it doesn't bother me at all. It's necessary.

  4. No.  I like people to look me in the eye when they are speaking to me.  The only way it would bother me would be if they were standing about 4 inches from my face.

  5. I threaten to go down on them

  6. Not at all.

  7. no i demand that respect!

when others don't look is when i get uncomfortable i keep thinking what are they up to why can't they look me in the eyes! are they lieing!

  8. A little. It was always hard for me to look people in the eye, especially because of my depression and anxiety. It's still kind of hard, there's something weird about it that makes me uncomfortable. But I can do it more than I used to.

  9. No,i'm think that if someone looks straight in the eye while is talking to you..it's a person sincere..i look always straight in the eye..when i'm telling the truth..

  10. No ,not at all ...if they are looking at you right in the eyes it means that they are telling you the truth. If they are looking all over the place they are not honest and it is a lie.

  11. That's how l prefer a conversation to take place

  12. I'd feel a little intimidated at first, but then I'd most probably shrug it off and say what I have to say.

  13. I was brought up to look people in the eye when I spoke to them...as it is meant to be a sign of honesty and respect. It was considered *shifty* not to be able to look others in the eye.....

BUT having said that ... I now know there are other cultures that do not like direct eye-contact.. and it has nothing to do with dishonesty.. just cultural differences..

I prefer to be looked at straight in the eye.

  14. I will not be comportable if the person is new to me. Depends on the subject of conversation.and looking straigth in the eye of the person you  are talking to is a good communication and more understanding to each other.

  15. I stand up real quick and ask them "What you looking at fool"

  16. Depends on several things.

When someone looks in your eye means they are interested and paying attention.

When the look turns into a show down stare it can become uncomfortable or even threatening.

If the stare is from someone you like or love it can be someone swooning over you and it can be highly appreciated.

  17. I have the habit of looking people in the eye as I speak to them. Some get uncomfortable and others will look back. But I always make sure I don't have bad breath too, lol.
