  1. Virtually all drugs that are available in the US are available in Europe, and vice versa (but not as often). They will have an equivalent drug, if not the same exact thing. These drugs often go by different brand names (e.g. Paxil in the US is the same as Seroxat in the UK).

Most developed European countries (like UK, Ireland, Germany, France) are going to have the same medications available as in the US.  However, a lot of medications are marketed under different brand names in different countries.  They are the same thing but called by a different name.  You should find out what the names of the drugs you take are marketed as in the country you are going.  Europe, being the awesome progressive liberals that they are, also sell some drugs that you can buy in the pharmacy that you can only get by a prescription in America.
