  1. as far as i know, i think the one who interrupted would just be given a chance to explain why shouldn't the couple be together, and whatever the reason is would be the outcome, right?^_^

    *ganda naman ng pic mo

  2. Kidney...is right and after explaining their side, the ceremony will stop. They have to present their affidavit and other pertaining documents regarding the previous marriage.

  3. I guess that depends on what the minister's obligations are.  If the minister is obliged to stop the ceremony on such a claim, the ceremony would probably stop.

That line is not always said at weddings.  I have been to many weddings and never heard that line before.

  4. i think that line from the priest is not anymore being said because few weeks before the wedding, there are announcements made in the churches and the neigboring churches that those 2 persons are going to wed,so if there's someone who would object to that marriage ceremony it should be done at these times before the wedding takes place. =)

  5. Why did this happen to you? Did you interrupt the wedding? If the dude isn't in love with you anymore don't force yourself to him. Just let him be and you go find another.

  6. asha is completely right..

nowadays,we no longer allow that to happen though some priests still mention that, since the wedding announcement is done weeks before the actual wedding. they are posted on the bulletin boards of the church.

if there are objections during the wedding ceremony, it will no longer be entertained.

  7. There will be a riot.  The women will fight and the men will eat all that free food so its not wasted.

Hint:  Don't invite any old girlfriends or ex-wifes to your wedding.

  8. Depends on the contracting parties.

Usually, the bride, in her embarrassment gets to slap the groom while accusing him of every crime conceivable, and runs away in tears.  This is what I see in movies they do.   If the bride, however, has this unshakable faith in the groom,  I think she will slap the girl instead for interrupting, while the groom professes he never saw the girl before in his entire life, and the wedding continues as if nothing happened.

There are also the secondary parties to reckon with, most especially the parents.

The moment the interrupting person even attempts to speak out, I think they gang up on her, and bring her down like in a football tackle, to silence her.

  9. havent seen that happen yet. guessing the priest will stop the ceremony.
