  1. Well, don't go past the center of the Earth, because you'll be trespassing on the persons property on the other side of the planet! :-)

  2. Well, being as no one can even get down there, why not?

  3. Well it depends.  A lot of property has deeds to the minerals and oil below it.  So you might own the top part, but not the bottom.

  4. i have no clue but that is a very good question!

  5. lol

  6. You do not own property. Since property cannot be moved, it cannot e owned. What is meant by ownership is the right of use of the property. The rights of use vary according to what is allowed by the governing authority where the property is located.

Since you cannot occupy property below a reasonable depth, you have no rights to it. Even the rights of minerals only apply to the minerals that can be removed.

  7. I had this very same question on the title insurance exam in Arkansas.  Here was the answer.

Ownership of land is an inverted pyramid that begins at the center of the earth and extends out into space.  (So it starts at the center as a dot and extends out to infinity in space.)

HOWEVER, this ownership is whittled away by someone who reserved mineral rights years ago, by the government utilizing the airspace over your house, water rights to the city, etc, etc.  This can get pretty technical and there are legal classes in college that deal with it in greater detail, but yes, it goes to the center of the earth.  Interesting though...you get a star!!
