If someone pull out a gun on you what would you do?

if your walking home from work or a freinds house and a car with tended windows pulls over wait for you to walk to a block and when you get on the block they turn the block and pull down the window and pull out a gun on you. what would you do?

It is self defense 101. Run like h**l and bob and weave a bit as you do. The assumption must be made that they will shoot you and maybe for no reason. It is all about being mentally prepared and ready to act if need be.

Dude with tinted windows has not probably practiced with his weapon so the odds of him hitting you or hitting a vital organ is slim. He is used to using the weapon as intimidation only and counts on a person being confused and that the person will freeze in place or take a moment to process.

You take off going around the other side of the car and he will have to take a moment to process this. You are out of the line of fire, has to tell someone to put down the window, tell a driver to go a certain way or if he is driving has to take a moment to figure out which way you went.

Even if you have been trained by the military and such hitting a moving target is problematic and won't happen in most cases.

Alternatively drop your wallet/purse or backpack and run like h**l. They would be more interested in that for a moment giving you time to run. If you have a serious issue have a drop bag that has nothing with personal info in it.

well if i had had my pistol on me like i usually do i would try to squeeze first and aask questions last!!! you know what im sayin?

But if i didnt i would run till i was fully clear of the danger because why not take the chance when your already in a lose, lose situation...

There are good question and there are bad answers, some of these answers are terrible and attempts to be funny.  that being said if I was trully interested in what to do I would ask a local police officer.  I suspect the officer would tell you to run!  My humorous side says I would need to change my underware.

I would stay cool do what they want.  No reason to cause fuss unless there is something to cause fuss about if needed I would pull my gun out but it doesn't come out unless it needs to be fired.

If there weren't any cover I could get to quickly I would just laugh at them. In the Army you learn not to fear death and if you laugh at them they will probably be like "this guy's nut's" and wont bother.
