I mean come on! Like what is so special about (EXAMPLES) Charlie Haas or a Jamie Noble. I personally, don't think their all that! Yeah, there solid wrestlers, but c'mon. It seems to be whoever jobs nowadays, are all of a sudden called an "UNDERRATED" wrestler. Personally, I just won't call the "underrated" I don't understand it (That's just me) :D

Anyone else feel the same?

  1. I would have said yes if the name Jamie Noble hadn't came up.  Jamie Noble's not just a good wrestler, he's a phenomenal wrestler who has charisma and character.  The only thing holding him back is booking.  Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin are different stories though.  They're both vastly uncharismatic, and up until recently, the WWE's done little to make either that appealing. I'm sorry but a momma's boy and a metrosexual hanging out with Rico just doesn't scream "push" or "potential" to me.  Those two should have stayed a tag team.

In essence, the term "underrated" is always going to be in the eye of the beholder.  For instance, I've been saying guys like Brian Kendrick and Stevie Richards are underrated for years, but until recently, nobody has really noticed their potential, or at least Kendrick's.  I'm under no illusion about Stevie's star power, he's jobber for life, but it doesn't mean I can't admire his work, because he is a good worker.  I'd say the same about SD Jones as well.  Do I think either ever had the potential to be World Champion?  Maybe not, but I do like their work, and to me, that makes them underrated performers.  Neither man is lacking what it takes, they're just pushed wrong, and with guys like Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels in the world, you can't always cite size as a factor when it comes to the Stevies and the Nobles and the Kendricks of the wrestling world.

  2. No underrated means there not getting wat they deserve

  3. Yes They are.

  4. Cheezy, I 100% agree with you. I've never said anything cause it's somebody's opinion, but the 2 examples you used are perfect examples.

I think Jamie Noble and Charlie Haas are good wrestlers..but that's where it ends. There is something that is missing from their wrestling that doesn't put them to the top. Maybe it's the showmanship of the way they do their moves, whatever it maybe..they are not underrated..they just are what they are.

Jamie is a good wrestler..but ever since I saw him in WCW nothing has stood out to me about him. Same with Charlie haas, nothing really stands out to me about him. Both also lack the charisma it takes to be a mega star in wrestling..not to mention both wrestlers have average mic skills.

Now I would say somebody like Shelton Benjamin is underrated..yeah he doesn't have great mic skills neither, but something in his wrestling makes him stand out. Which is why I think he deserves a good push. I think he has more of a showmanship thing in his wrestling abilities then Noble and Haas.

Considering you watch a lot of Japanese wrestling, I'm sure you're wondering what the fuss is about Haas and Noble, since I'm sure there's wrestlers 20 times better then Haas and Noble out there. I'm not up on my current Japanese wrestling so you would know better than me.

Ultimately, it's depends on everybody's opinion, but I agree with you're statement 100%..but sucks and underrated are 2 different things. Some people just think a certain wrestler sucks..while another might just think that same wrestler is underrated because so many think he sucks.

I don't think Noble and Haas suck, I think their good..not great, but I do think a lot of people who think they are underrated, actually overrate them.

  5. I completly disagree

u shuld seriously check out some Jamie Noble matches in ROH, with Austin Aries and Christopher Daniels, Noble is the most underrtaed wrestler in WWE today!!!!!!!!!!!

Charlie Haas isn't charismatic, but he is a great well rounded and awesome on the mat.

the Sad thing is, Charlie Haas has amazing wrestling skills, and has good mic skills(yes his mic skills are good, remember when he was the host to a diva bikini contest in june), and he also got the look the be a main eventer.

i think he could be charismatic if he was booked right!!!!!!!!!!!

    STARRED

    watch this 4-way match:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-z8m15f6...

and this is a phenomanal jamie noble match:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGgvmqrCE...

so don't give me this BS, about him not being a great wrestler, and those matches weren't good btw for Jamie Noble, he can much better ,like i said watch him vs austin aries and christopher daniels

  6. jamie noble sucks? no way does he suck, he was james gibson in ROH and was always awesome.

  7. if u can make it in the wwe or tna im sure you have to be good at what you do

  8. I've never heard anyone call Haas or Jamie Noble underrated, they suck unless they bring back the cruiserweight title then noble would be perfect for that but I can definitely do without Haas.

  9. I do think the term underrated applies to Jamie Noble and Charlie Haas. The way I look at it is yes they're good technical wrestlers, and the fact is WWE does not favor that style of wrestling, therefore they are held back and devalued. The difference between them and guys like Snitsky, Chuck Palumbo and other big guys is the fact that those guys actually get to show most of what they can actually do doing a match, which is to be big and overpower smaller wrestlers with their size and strength. Its not like if you put Snitsky in a 30 minute match with Shawn Michaels that is going to be anything better than a 7 minute match between the two. Guys like that work better in shorter matches because of their style, while guys like Noble and Haas need to have longer matches for their styles to be displayed. Technical wrestling is about conditioning and breaking your opponent down slowly and steady. You can't really do that in 7 minute matches, especially when your opponent does not use the same style.

  10. i wont go in to detail on this (because im not feeling to good today) but i will answer

jamie noble is among the best technical wrestler in the world, in my opinion better than bryan danielson, you might not see it in WWE because he doesnt use his moves

i mean he left WWE for like a year and went to ROH and within a few months he won a world title there, most companies know his talents apart from WWE

if you see jamie noble vs bryan danielson in japan you will be blown away, they had a 48 minute match, and i think noble may have out wrestled danielson (who most call the best in the world)

as for charlie haas, he is a legend in some promotions hes been in, him and his brother (RIP) pretty much made JAPW, he is so great technically an has some of the nastiest submissions in the busines .... he is head and shoulders beter than shelton benjamin, and haas os very entertaining on the mic

people have to realise that what you see in WWE isnt alyways right

    hope this answers your question

  11. YES, THEY ARE UNDERRATED. SNITSKY JOBS A LOT TOO, AND NOT A LOT OF FANS CALL HIM UNDERRATED, SO YOUR ARGUEMENT FLIES OUT THE WINDOW. PLUS BOTH NOBLE AND HAAS HAVE HAD OUTSTANDING AMATEUR CAREERS, UNLIKE GUYS LIKE BOTCH-TISTAROIDS WHO BOTCHES EVERY SECOND d**n MOVE HE DOES. HAAS AND NOBLE HARDLY BOTCH MOVES (YES, EVERY WRESTLER BOTCHES OCCASIONALLY, BUT GUYS LIKE BATISTA BOTCH CONSTANTLY)

PLUS NOBLE IS A FORMER ROH CHAMPION, AND ROH ROCKS

NOBLE LACKS CHARISMA? YEAH RIGHT, UMMM HIS 2002 RUN WITH NIDIA IS PURE GOLD. DON'T TOUCH MY NIDIA, YOU STAY AWAY FROM MY NIDIA, PURE CLASSIC. YES, THE CURRENT JAMIE MAY BE BORING, BUT THE REDNECK TRAILER PARK VERSION WAS ******* AWESOME.
