If someone smoked pot for about 10 years?

and were clean for like 12 years and tried to have a baby could it affect the child at all?

i no someone who smoked it and was clean and turned her life completly around in those 12 years she got married and was going to have a baby and the babby was born way to premature and died. then 15 years clean she tried to have another baby and this one was born 4 months premature but shes alive :).

this person has been clean since like 1993 but i was wondering if the fact that she smoked all them years ago could affect the baby

no, that wouldn't be the cause, some women just have problems carrying babies to full term

It is very doubtful that pot smoking so long ago could have caused the prematurity. I'm wondering if maybe the mom's age played into the prematurity. Just doing the math, it seems like she was on the older side, medically speaking, which may raise the chance of having a preemie.

Some women have preemies due to infections that aren't diagnosed, some due to differences in their anatomy, there are many reasons. Lots of women who do drugs or smoke pot have healthy full term babies.

it could be damaging  but some females bodies arent stong enough to carry a baby to term it could have been the pot that did it to her
