  1. It means you take things personally. It can be negative or positive, depending on the context. It can mean, positively, that you are a feeling and caring person. But often times people use it negatively to try to justify hurting your feelings.  


  2. "Take this to heart" means:

    "Please take this seriously but not offensively"

  3. I would have to know more about what they were referring to.  I would think they meant you take things too seriously.
