If someone vacates an apartment after 3mths and they are no longer on the lease can you throw their things out

I won't give you the legal answer.  I want to tell you that i am amazed when tenants come back 100 days later and ask , "Can i get my stuff?".  It used to make me mad but now i just smile. I never throw anything out. I stuff it in my garage.  I've found that 100 days works best.  Then there is no screaming at me when they show up after 80 days acting like my job on Earth is to store their junk.

Legally you can junk it after it is deemed "abandoned" in your state's Landlord Tenant Act. Apx 10 days. /
