  1. They'll tell you that there is nothing they can do until that person kills you.

  2. Unless you have a witness to this verbal threat YOU are basically on your own.   Unless he attempted  to kill you & you have bruises & welts & marks from the assult &  you got away  there isn't much they will do.    It is sad I know but that is the way it is. Yea you can fill out a statement & they can pick the guy up & question him maybe  even put him in jail.  But when it goes to court you need evidence that it really happened.   Other wise it is Your word against his.    He is innocent untill proven guilty.    In Colorado anyway.

  3. take a statement and question the person that threatned you.  possibly send the file to the CPS.  It really depends on evidence and if that person was actually serious.  If you are in the UK, as to speak to the domestic violence unit, if this person is family etc.

  4. question the person that threatens your life

  5. two options--chicken out or kill you

  6. you make a report with the police, even place charges against them.. then the police with question the person who has threatened you, they are served papers if you charged them, then it goes to court

  7. If the person threatens to kill you, you can press charges, but personally i think it isnt worth it. If you tell the police they will question you first the normal questions are: did he/she ever lifted his/her hands on you ? and how? what did he say? If he lifted your hands on you they will take him in custady and check finger prints, blood tests etc... to see if he's a murderer in unsolved crimes or if he went to prison. If he threatened you they will give him a warning by the second time they will press charges,

If they find him crossing an unsolved crime they will check all his details and if he's a suspect they will press charges

Trust me i'm a lawyer these things happen.

  8. if you can prove it the person can be convicted with death threats

  9. A harassment complaint is filed, that's if the person who is threatened agrees to file the complaint.
