If someone was making a "What if" film where the Axis powers had won world war two what would the filmmaker have be aware of so that Germans and Japanese audiences will not get offended or upset?

Because the last thing that movie makers don't want is getting into trouble, big f***ing trouble.

  1. It is impossible to make a film like that without offending someone. These days, it's impossible to make ANYTHING without offending someone.

But, if it were me, I would just stick directly in the History books, and base EVERYTHING off actual events and the way they actually acted. That way, you can just say, "Hey, that's the way they acted then."

And I suggest watching the documentary, The Confederate States of America. It is a what-if film about the Confederates winning the Civil War instead of the North.
