  1. I'd say yes, because then you would have to explain, which would take 4ever

  2. I'd say..."I used to think so"

  3. That person should respond with a positive attitude. It can be tough to get through life without family and friends. The older 1/2 sister may turn out to be a great friend as well.

  4. When I was 30 a half brother that I didn't know that I had found me.

I guess I have 3 half brothers and a half sister in Canada that I had never been given a clue to their existence.

Apparently I'm the youngest one. We talked for a few months and basically decided to go our own ways.

I acknowledge the genetic connection, but we aren't family.

They wanted money... what a surprise.

  5. i would say yes, why the heck would i need to explain about my auto biography

  6. my half sister was raised an only child we recently started talking she is 30 and im 22 and now when someone says have you got any bros or sisters she says yes i have two sisters, so if anyone asks then say you have a sister unless you not met her and not comfortable in calling her that then just say you an only child its your choice

  7. they should respond the way they feel most comfortable at the time, depending on who is doing the asking

it they want to explain to the the asker the details of their sister's existence, it should be thier own decision

  8. They should say, "I was raised as an only child but found out later I have a sister".

  9. When I was 20yo I found out I had a half brother. Since then I always mention him. We are related.
