  1. aggravated kidnapping, assault

  2. Kidnapping is the more serious of the number of charges possible.  Just say no to dumb *** gags...

  3. False imprisonment usually means locking someone in their room. You bound a peson and threw them into a motor vehicle. I would say that is very close to kidnapping. At the very least assault. Not aggravated unless a weapon or serious bodily harm was done. Also, in many states, lynching is still on the books. If you and a couple of friends helped, a motivated prosecutor go for a lynching charge - which is a felony in SC.

  4. false imprisonment

  5. In criminal law, kidnapping is the taking away or asportation of a person against the person's will, usually to hold the person in false imprisonment, a confinement without legal authority. This is often done for ransom or in furtherance of another crime. A majority of jurisdictions in the United States retain the "asportation" element for kidnapping, where the victim must be confined in a bounded area against their will and moved. Any amount of movement will suffice for the requirement, even if it is moving the abductee to a house next door.

  6. Unless you wish to go to jail for a very long time, or at least spend quite a large amount of money for a great lawyer, I would not advise you to try this trick. It is a federal case!
