If a person facing deportation from the United States can't return to their country due to their home county's unstableness and possibly dangerous environment what happens next?

  4. If your country was dangerous,you should have applied for asylum in the first place instead of entering illegally. At this point,seeking asylum will just look like an excuse to avoid deportation and probably wouldn't be approved. You would have to provide specific proof of how your life would be in danger if you had to return to your home country. Unstableness and possible dangerous environment isn't  a reason to avoid deportation.

  5. "Can't" means "unable to". They might not want to return but they are still able to and their country will take them back. They can file for asylum in the country they are currently in to keep from being deported, but it doesn't mean it will be granted.
