Such as a vacation to Canada, what are the steps necessary and around how much will it cost to travel to Canada?

Another state?

What do you need to travel, can you just leave? Or what are the steps and things you need?

Including flight tickets if anyone knows?

  1. If you are an american citizen and you want to leave the country you need a passport, they vary in price depending on their expiration date. You can apply for a passport trough US post services, on line and at their offices for more information just google it ;) If you want to leave the state, you just need to carry your id with you. So technically you can just leave. If you decide to fly you need a proper id in order to board the airplane. Have fun and go and explore the world, good luck!

  2. Depends on where you go.

If you go out of the country (including mexico and Canada) bring a passport. Or they they won't let ya back in.

Always have a credit card in a special place in case u get robbed or lose you money(wallet).

    Pack lots of clean undies.

  3. To travel within the US, you dont need much. However you should always bring your ID and credit cards/money. For Canada, if you are a citizen, you might need just your ID if youre going for less than 3 days. Otherwise you might need special permission. I recently took a road trip from LA to Vancouver and just needed my residence card. However I only stayed 2 days. If you know for sure where you are going, make reservations at hotels, you will be amazed how much they mark up the price if you dont. However, if youve never travelled outside of California, I suggest you DRIVE. Simply because you most likely live in the city, and cities can seem very similar. You appreciate the differences when you drive more than fly. Furthermore, From San Diego to Vancouver, if you must stay at a single place (or area) i suggest SEATTLE!! it is an amazing city, lots to do, and if you get bored of the city, you can take a ferry across the river into a vast national forest (or park i forget) with many small towns.

I took 10 days and spent $1500 which included a speeding ticket (in Weed, California go figure). I mostly spent money on motels/hotels, food and some entertainment. If you budget, it wont be that much.
