i feel like they would definately take them off if the person were to get cremated, but i mean i think it is probably up to the family

I think it would be a family choice. And if it didn't mess with the body and the barriel then it shouldn't matter if they are left on or not. Not like they are gonna use those braces on some one else or anything.

they wont be any betterr than new ones...some things just cant be reused

I believe it is up to there parents. If they stay on eventually they will rot and decay. If they are taken off they are melted down and reused for other braces, or other uses for that kind of metal.
