If something insanely odd happens.......?

Question

Say something totally insane happens tonight.....Ovechkin doesn't win the Hart......who do you believe has a better chance of winning Iginla or Malkin?

Definetly Malkin. I know since playoffs have already happened it seems Malkin isn't that good (cuz of the finals)., but we have to remember it was based on the MVP to his team during the SEASON. When Crosby was out, guess who stepped up huge, "Gino" Malkin. Iginla was consistantly offensive don't get me wrong, but did not respond to any pressure like Malkin did without Crosby(injury) and Hossa (before deadline).

Haha, as soon as I read the question, I knew what the additional info would say. This is a hard question though. Evgeni Malkin meant everything to the Pens when Sid went down. (I hear he still has to ice his back... It's still sore from carrying the team.)

But Jarome Iginla, to me, is the epitome of what every team's MVP should be. (He's the epitome of what one kind of captain should be, as well!) Iginla has won the Art Ross, the Richard, and the Pearson... but he's only been nominated (and came 2nd in voting) for the Hart. I'm willing to bet that Iginla means more to the Flames than Malkin means to the Pens, and while the Hart is for THIS season, it would still be hard for me to say Malkin deserves it more than Iginla.

Malkin wins it if Ove doesn't. He stepped up big without Sidney, not that Iginla wasnt the MVP of his team. Without Malkin Pens would not have been seeded 2nd and possibly missing the Playoffs. He was amazing through the regualer season and into the playoffs (beside the SCF) If Malkin did win it how does he make a speech, does he speak English? Think Ovechkin will win the Hart and Pearson
