  1. The term Mint condition means new or as it left the mint before it was circulated. In numismatics though the correct term is Mint State and that is a grade and these days there is a number after it. Mint state grades go from Mint State-60 to Mint State-70 and MS-70 is a perfect coin. Mint condition should mean there is no wear, so that is good if true.

  2. mint condition means perfect, so yes - it is good ☺

  3. "mint condition" is falseleading. To me "mint" condition, it must have been MINTED.

The true condition is "New", "Like New", "opened but unused"

  4. It means it is in perfect condition, as though freshly minted

  5. perfecto, best it can possibly be

  6. In stamps it means the gum is perfect and has never been touched my human hands.

In coins it mean it has never been touched my human hands and that the plating is perfect.

  7. Yes is the short answer.  The term is loosley used and the item should remain in it's box unopened to be classed as mint.  However, most people just use 'mint' to describe something that is as good as new or perfect condition.

  8. Mint condition is like buying a car off the show room floor.  It's just like when it was made-no scratches or dings.

Buyer beware.  Some peoples thought of mint isn't always what the buyer gets.  If it's an older car that's been driven, then it can't be mint.  It has miles.  Now, I have beanie babies that I bought (the tiny ones) from McDonalds years ago.  I never took them out of the bag and have each set in a ziplock labeled.  That's mint.

  9. mint can refer to 'ace', 'great', 'good', etc.

    so yeah it means good.

'this summer is gunna be mint!!'

  10. perfect condition
